Job Description

Entry-Level Fabrication Shop Technician Custom Machine Works is seeking a motivated individual to join our fabrication team. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and a flexible schedule. No extensive experience is required. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is eager to learn, and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Opportunities for growth include welding, machine assembly, machining, and advanced fabrication skills. Responsibilities Accurately measure and cut material using a saw Grind and deburr parts to meet quality standards Handle and move materials throughout the fabrication shop Read and interpret blueprints (training provided) Learn to operate fabrication equipment, including: Shear Press brake Plasma cutter Assist with assembly and other shop projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow instructions and established shop procedures Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure accurately Basic math skills Neat, organized, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Custom Machine Works? Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
