A & A Royal Auto Trim is looking for an Entry-Level Automotive Installer to join our team. You don't need to know how to do everything. We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, mechanically minded, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn. We work on a wide variety of vehicles and perform automotive customization and installation work including window tint, interiors, electronics, accessories, remote starts, audio, glass, and more. This is NOT a traditional mechanic position. No engine or transmission repair. Instead, you'll learn the skills involved in customizing and installing components on today's vehicles.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Depending on your abilities and interests, you'll have the opportunity to learn: Window tint installation Automotive interior installation Removing and reinstalling vehicle panels Car audio and radio installation 12V electrical wiring LED and accessory lighting Remote starts and alarm systems Aftermarket accessories Headliners and interior components Automotive glass Automotive trim and upholstery Troubleshooting installation problems Professional vehicle preparation and quality control Training is provided. You don't have to walk in knowing how to do all of these things.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't necessarily need professional automotive experience. We're interested in people who have experience or natural ability with things like: Working with hand tools Working on cars as a hobby Installing car stereo equipment Wiring electronics Building things Automotive detailing Body work Carpentry Electrical work Powersports / motorcycles Home improvement Other hands-on trades If you can learn, follow instructions and take pride in your work, we can teach you the automotive side.

PAY & ADVANCEMENT

Starting pay: $16-$22/hr depending on experience and demonstrated ability. As you develop additional skills, your earning potential increases. You can progress from entry-level installation into higher-skilled areas such as: Installer → Skilled Technician → Specialty Technician Additional skills such as window tint, 12V electrical, remote starts, audio, PPF, upholstery, glass, and advanced customization can lead to higher pay.

SCHEDULE

Full-time Monday-Saturday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Saturday availability is required. In-person position at our Kansas City shop.
