Assembly Technician Owensville, MO | Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) $16-$18/hour depending on experience and work history Build the displays and fixtures seen in major retailers across the country. At Jahabow, we manufacture custom retail displays, fixtures, cabinetry, décor, and showcase components for retailers including Walmart, Sam's Club, Kohl's, and Academy. We're looking for hands-on individuals who enjoy working with tools, building quality products, and taking pride in precise workmanship. This role involves assembling products made from a variety of materials, including wood, metal, glass, laminates, and hardware components . Candidates with carpentry, remodeling, construction, cabinetmaking, assembly, fabrication, or other hands-on mechanical experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Assemble retail displays, fixtures, showcases, and related products Work with wood, metal, glass, laminates, and hardware components Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and fastening equipment Read work instructions, drawings, and specifications Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools Ensure finished products meet quality and appearance standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Assist with packaging and preparing completed products for shipment What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform precise measurements Comfortable working with hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 40+ pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift Dependable attendance and work ethic High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Previous carpentry, remodeling, construction, assembly, cabinetmaking, fabrication, or manufacturing experience Experience using saws, drills, grinders, routers, or similar tools Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, or work instructions DIY home renovation, woodworking, or building project experience Experience working with multiple materials, including wood, metal, or glass Why Join Jahabow?
