Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking Truss Assemblers to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembling and fabricating various materials, with a focus on millwork. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and fabricate components, parts, and materials for various projects
  • Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders
  • Follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with carpenters, engineers, and other production team members to achieve project goals
  • Manage and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes
  • Meet production deadlines and maintain productivity levels
Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to apply it to various tasks
  • Familiarity with millwork and ability to work with different materials
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to meet production deadlines and maintain productivity levels
  • Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Materials handling experience
