Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking Truss Assemblers to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembling and fabricating various materials, with a focus on millwork. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate components, parts, and materials for various projects
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders
- Follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication
- Inspect and test assembled components to ensure quality and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with carpenters, engineers, and other production team members to achieve project goals
- Manage and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes
- Meet production deadlines and maintain productivity levels
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to apply it to various tasks
- Familiarity with millwork and ability to work with different materials
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
