In our SPX Cooling Technologies business, you'll help assemble the high-quality industrial HVAC equipment—cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units—that support mission-critical facilities. Your mission Transform metal parts into finished, inspection-ready assemblies that carry the Marley, Recold, and SGS reputation for quality. Key responsibilities Read/interpret simple instructions and controlled documents to stage and position parts for assembly. Use drills, hand tools, and air impact wrenches to fasten components with bolts, screws, and other hardware. Verify work against quality standards so each unit can pass final inspection. Contribute to continuous improvement and take on other assigned tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months relevant experience/training; or an equivalent blend of education and experience. Clear communication skills—read and comprehend basic instructions, write simple notes, and share updates in small-group or one-on-one settings.

add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Physical expectations and environment Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling; occasional climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lift/move up to 25 lbs.; close-vision work.
