In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating foam materials used in making furniture cushions, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the assembly process. Your energetic approach will help drive our manufacturing operations forward, contributing to the creation of high-quality furniture seating products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic factory environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Review customer orders and labels for assembly. Prepare foam components for furniture production, ensuring proper placement and fit for ticking. Use hand tools to cut, shape, or modify foam pieces according to specifications. Use gluer spray as needed to assist with the assembly. Insert pocketed springs as needed. Conduct quality checks on foam materials for defects or inconsistencies before assembly and after finished seat cushion is completed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Hourly training pay per hour and moves to production pay with opportunities to make more money. Will train the right candidate. Skills Familiarity with hand tools and glue sprayer used in foam handling and furniture cushion assembly/fabrication. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable. Ability to work with attention to detail and speed in a fast-paced work environment. Quality is upmost importance. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.
