SBFI North America About Us SBFI North America designs and manufactures custom, height-adjustable office furniture and desks for clients in the finance and government sectors. We build frames and pre-assemble desks in-house before shipping them to client locations for installation. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and precision at every step of the process. Position Overview We are seeking two Assemblers to join our production team. Assemblers are responsible for putting together both large and small desk components—including frames, hardware, and panels—using hand and power tools. Each assembler is typically assigned a full desk build, requiring the ability to work independently while also contributing to the success of the overall team. Responsibilities Assemble custom desks and components according to drawings, instructions, and quality standards Safely and efficiently use hand tools and power tools to complete builds Handle and move large metal and wood components, as well as small hardware parts Verify accuracy of assemblies against specifications and perform quality checks Work independently on full desk builds, as well as collaborate with team members as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures Qualifications Experience using hand tools and power tools (required) Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings/prints (preferred) Forklift experience or certification (a plus) Physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), move, and assemble large furniture components Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
