4:00 PM•12:00 AM Job Description We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Assembler 1 to join our manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for performing deburr operations on large steel generator rotor forgings after machining, as well as cleaning coils and hardware prior to assembly. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and air tools, and the ability to follow written work instructions in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities Perform deburr operations to remove sharp edges from steel generator rotor forgings Clean coils and other hardware components prior to assembly Use hand tools and air tools safely and effectively Follow written work instructions and assembly procedures Complete quality and production documentation accurately Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and training requirements Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors Support production and assembly operations as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly skills Ability to read and follow written instructions Experience using hand tools and air tools Ability to complete quality documentation Strong attention to detail and safety practices Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in an industrial environment Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or factory industrial experience Experience in assembly, deburring, or production environments (PG•R1) #IND2

Pay:

$19.00•$21.00 per hour
