In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various truck equipment, ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the installation process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items Follow safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements. Install truck bodies & commercial truck accessories Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc. Basic weld experience (helpful) Train with other mechanics as needed Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager Read work instructions and installation directions Gather materials and properly assemble equipment Test performance before delivering units to a final audit Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to truck equipment installation. Follow safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements. Experience Familiarity with industrial equipment installation is preferred. Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role will be an advantage. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to vehicle maintenance are a plus.
