You will utilize your technical skills to ensure parts meet rigorous standards, directly contributing to the efficiency and output of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Execute metal finishing tasks including grinding, cleaning, and surface preparation to ensure parts are free of defects. Operate shot blasting equipment and hand tools to refine metal surfaces according to production specifications. Assemble kits and components, ensuring all pieces align with project requirements and quality benchmarks. Utilize overhead cranes and material handling equipment to safely transport components throughout the facility. Perform detailed inspections on finished parts to identify and document any non-conforming materials. Maintain a high standard of workplace organization and safety, adhering to all industrial protocols. Support team throughput by consistently meeting production goals and following established workflows. Qualifications Required Skills Proven ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret basic blueprints and technical instructions. Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Effective communication skills in English to ensure safety and operational clarity. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating overhead cranes with pendant radio controls. Demonstrated proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing accurate measurements. Previous experience in a metal fabrication or heavy industrial environment.
