ASSEMBLY/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Description H&H Farm Machine Co. , a leading custom sprayer manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented full time Assembly/Service Technician to join our growing team! We specialize in the manufacture, service, and sale of custom sprayers for agriculture, landscaping, construction, experimental research, nurseries, poultry, livestock, and recreation (www.hhspray.com).You will assemble, maintain, and repair various types of sprayers and other agriculture and landscaping equipment in our assembly shop. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will play a key role in ensuring the assembly of our high-quality custom sprayers from the ground up by reading blueprints and using a variety of tools.Responsibilities:
Read and comprehend blueprints and instructions and follow established procedures to assemble custom sprayers from the ground up. This process includes cleaning tanks, install fittings and parts, run plumbing and hydraulic lines, and use both power and hand tools. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all components meet specifications. Operate a variety of power and hand tools, including drills, grinders, and forklifts. Load and unload materials and equipment. Plans and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly project, or team related production goals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Report any issues, malfunction, or defective parts to the Service Manager. Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment. Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support (a plus). Respond to work order requests in a timely manner. Maintain a positive and collaborative work ethic.Qualifications:
Understand the function of various types of agricultural pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, etc). Experience in using tools (e.g. screwdriver, hand wrench, ratchets, drills, grinders etc.) and machines (e.g. electric hand tools, forklifts etc.). Technical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude a must. Understanding of measurement concepts and the ability to accurately measure dimensions. Knowledge of quality control principles. Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently for shifts of at least 8 hours. Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs and stand for extended periods. Dependable with a valid driver's license. Experience in agriculture or horticulture (a plus). Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Benefits:
