Accountabilities:
Efficiently and effectively assist with the satisfactory completion and administration of the following items in order to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Product assembly Daily reporting Quality assurance
Safety Responsibilities:
Complete required assembly activities for an assigned cell while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices
Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company
Read and follow standard work instructions.
Keep Supervisor / Group Lead/Manufacturing Technicians informed of cell activity including but not limited to information related to quality, personal, parts supply, and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility
Complete all required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor.
Attend all required training
Assure a quality focus is maintained at all times
Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channel for an assigned cell
Participate in all required continuous improvement activities as requested or required by the company
Utilize Lean concepts and provided tool tools in order to improve the production process
Assure work environment is clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times
Actively participate in all department projects, tasks, and objectives including but not limited to continuous improvement activities
Maintain the highest ethical standards as well as absolute personal and intellectual integrity, mature judgment, and innate cooperative nature
Other activities as needed and requested
Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area
Qualifications, Requirements, and Essential Job Functions:
Sustain an acceptable attendance record by not exceeding 5 points per the OPW Retail Fueling Attendance Policy
Adhere to all required company policies
Ability to work all scheduled and adjusted times, and or work overtime to accommodate production
Education/Experience:
Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company
Read and follow standard work instructions.
High school diploma preferred but not required
Willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment
Standing for long periods of time
Bend/stoop, climb, reach above shoulder, kneel and squat repeatedly
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. manually on a repetitive basis
