Job Description

Quanex is looking for Assemblers-1st shift to join our team located in Thomasville NC. The Assembler is responsible for operating a multiple port - turn style automatic screw dispensing machine, loading individual parts for attachment. 1st shift hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Team-Oriented Environment Dynamic Culture and People What Success Looks Like:
Run machines, including set up and basic troubleshooting. Adjust machine and product settings to maintain product specifications and part dimensions. Responsible for maintaining and adhering to the quality standards. Responsible for collecting and reporting scrap. Fill out inspection and or TPM reports. Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines. Keep the machine operation area neat, clean, and orderly.
Your Credentials:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently and in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
