Job Description Pre-Assembly Technician Location:
Winston-Salem/Kernersville area
Shift:
2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:00
PM Pay:
$17.50 per hour We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pre-Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing complex assembly work, reading blueprints, using precision measurement equipment, and supporting production goals in a safe and organized manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints to pre-assemble products accurately and efficiently. Assemble various types of stators and rotors according to work orders. Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or substandard conditions to the line lead or supervisor. Use precision measurement equipment to ensure product quality and accuracy. Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and materials used during the assembly process. Operate a pallet jack as needed to move materials or products. Follow all required PPE, ESD, safety, and quality protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area following 6S standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Ability to stand on concrete for the entire shift. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk throughout the production floor. Ability to pick up and move products as needed. Ability to lift 10 lbs. to 40 lbs. on a regular basis. Flexibility to work overtime as requested. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the full shift. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
