Job Description SummaryPerform a variety of tasks in the assembly process of the blade.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
  • follow the work instructions.
  • wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage.
  • Remove access tape and material from lightening cable inside the blade.
  • Apply zip ties to lightening cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.
  • Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.
  • Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.
  • Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika.
  • Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut.
  • Maintain 5s Standards. Required Qualifications
  • Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
Ability to push/pull heavy objects and work with hands for an extended period.

Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.

Knowledge of the department area.

Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.

Requires wearing of respirator. Desired Characteristics High School Diploma/GED or related experience.

Previous Manufacturing experience.
