Currently Requires 15 hours of Overtime Per Week Reports to: Production Supervisor Masport Incorporated, a subsidiary of NZX-listed Skellerup Holdings Limited, is looking for a Production Assembler to join our production team in Lincoln, NE. This position is responsible for assembling Masport vacuum pump systems using engineering drawings, hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment. The systems vary in size and weight, so the use of an overhead crane/hoist system and forklift is required as part of the role. See the Physical Demands section for physical requirements.

MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 1 year of recent experience within the last 3 years in a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone comfortable working with tools, following drawings or work instructions, handling parts and components, and working in a production or warehouse setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

System Assembly Assemble vacuum pump systems according to engineering drawings and assigned system configurations Pull required parts and inventory from various areas of the warehouse Use hand and power tools to drill, fasten, tighten, and assemble components Place parts on assembly carts and secure them with safety devices to maintain a safe working environment Work with small engines and batteries to ensure proper connections and RPM levels are set for each system configuration Make electrical connections on engine-driven system configurations Package and secure finished assemblies on pallets to ensure safe delivery to customers Maintain quality by carefully following engineering drawings, work instructions, and established assembly processes Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition Assist with other production, warehouse, or assembly-related tasks as needed Equipment Use Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift as needed Use an overhead crane/hoist system to safely move larger assemblies and components Use hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment required for assembly work Physical Demands Capable of lifting up-to 90lbs with the average weight of materials being 50lbs ( Fit for Duty Physical Required before Start Date ) Tolerates repetitive motions Tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting Can tolerate working in a warehouse with no air conditioning. The warehouse is equipped with large ceiling fans and sidewall exhaust fans for air circulation Tolerates working in noisy environments when near production areas Health and Safety Follow all company and statutory health and safety requirements Properly use and care for required personal protective equipment Report any issues with safety equipment, tools, or work areas to a supervisor Maintain good housekeeping practices to support a clean and safe work environment Take responsibility for safe working behavior and follow established safety procedures Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment required Experience using hand tools and power tools is required Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, or assembly procedures preferred Forklift experience required; certification preferred Ability to safely lift, move, package, and handle parts and components Ability to work in a hands-on production and warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team Benefits 401(k) 3% match after 12 consecutive months of employment Health Insurance
