Creare seeks a Fabrication Technician with strong hands-on skills in machining, welding, prototyping, assembly, and mechanical construction for engineering prototypes and test facilities. Primary Responsibilities Fabricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies and components. Perform manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders), welding, cutting, plumbing, and mechanical assembly. Build fixtures, prototypes, and custom tooling. Assist with CAD-driven fabrication (interpret drawings, verify tolerances). Maintain shop equipment, tools, and fabrication spaces. Support engineers with prototype development and facility modifications. Strong demonstrated fabrication skills (machining, welding, assembly, tooling). Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience with prototyping and creative problem-solving in hands-on environments. Ability to interpret and modify CAD models or drawings. Organization, communication, and safe work practices.
