. Assembler 1

A successful, global manufacturer needs a detail-oriented team player for their full-time, interim Assembler 1 position. Here's your chance to learn valuable skills and grow your production career in a dynamic, supportive environment!

Responsibilities of the Assembler 1

• Learn to read, comprehend, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and work instructions
  
• Work with various sized materials and use hand tools and power tools to complete subassemblies and finished goods
  
• Strip, tin, and label cables
  
• Glue/seal and solder components
  
• Set up and use test equipment to record, compile, and evaluate data
  
• Identify and report product defects, low inventory levels, and other issues
  
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
  
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned Additional Information

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent fine dexterity and motor skills
• Soldering experience is preferred but not required
• Good communication and computer skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail
