Job Description
About US For over 50 years, Mars has helped companies of all types bring products to market in a quick and cost-effective way. We have an in-house team of designers to develop and refine our customers' products, domestic and offshore manufacturing to get it produced, and an expert team of project managers and logistics coordinators to make sure it all goes smoothly and according to plan. About the Role As a Technician on our production team, you'll play a critical role in assembling, testing, and repairing various Domestic made products. Working in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing facility, you'll collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet quality and delivery goals.. Responsibilities Soldering and PC Board level assembly Final board-level testing of control boards, and associated circuitry Operating automated and manual test fixtures Wiring low-power AC and DC connections Troubleshooting and repairing of power processing circuitry and controls for products returned for repair Assembling and running test circuits to ensure electronic components perform according to product specifications Working within the company's ERP system to identify parts, revisions, and work orders Keeping production records, logbooks and test data as required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 2 years work experience in a production environment Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Excellent soldering skills with surface and through hole experience Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical product measurement and testing Familiar with basic electronic components Proficiency with a variety of electronic test equipment including digital multi meters etc Tech savvy with experience with laptops, desktops, and iPads/tablets Good MS Office skills, Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly Solid attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven team player, with a positive and adaptable attitude Familiar with Altium SMT and AOI experience a plus Physical Requirements Regular standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs. Strong manual dexterity and vision requirements (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception).
