Applicants with previous stone-fabrication experience and applicants interested in learning the trade are both encouraged to apply. Prior experience is valued but not required. We provide hands-on training to dependable candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to follow our established procedures. Pay and Schedule $17.00-$25.00 per hour based on verified experience and demonstrated ability Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Occasional overtime may be available or required Responsibilities Operate a water-fed bridge saw after completing the required training Use grinders, polishers, drills, saws, and other hand and power tools Measure and mark materials accurately and follow templates, diagrams, and shop drawings Cut, shape, grind, polish, and finish granite, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and other countertop materials Produce finished edges, seams, backsplashes, and sink and cooktop cutouts Inspect completed pieces for accurate dimensions, finish quality, and defects Operate the company forklift after completing the required training and evaluation Safely move, stage, and load slabs and fabricated countertop pieces Maintain a clean and organized shop while following all silica-control, wet-fabrication, PPE, and safety procedures Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish because daily production and safety coordination occurs in Spanish Legally authorized to work in the United States Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation At least 18 years old because forklift operation is an essential responsibility Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and willingness to accept instruction and correction Ability to learn measurements, fractions, fabrication techniques, and shop drawings Ability to safely lift and carry approximately 75 pounds independently and assist with heavier materials using team-lifting practices and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation Comfortable working in a fabrication environment that may be wet, noisy, dusty, and physically demanding Resume required; candidates advancing in the process will be asked for professional references Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check consistent with applicable law Preferred but Not Required Previous countertop or stone-fabrication experience Construction, manufacturing, warehouse, shop, power-tool, or forklift experience Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage after six months, with a 50% company contribution toward employee-only coverage Dependent coverage available without a company contribution Traditional
