Opportunity:
In this position, the candidate is expected to perform assembly and inspection operations and processes. In this role, you will seek out and readily accept opportunities for cross training and is expected to follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements. You will work with small parts, assembly of batteries, and capacitors. A lot of which are manually assembled. You will do cutting, trimming, soldering, welding, heat sealing, and inspection. When sitting in different stations, wear safety glasses and lab coats.

What You'll Do:
Adhere to the customer's Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process, and Associate Quality Policy. Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's). Understand own tasks and how they relate to others in their team. Works under moderate Supervision where duties are clearly defined. Will follow Standard Work where applicable. Understand overall production flow within their department. Assemble component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automatic machine operation. Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances. Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP). May package assemblies for shipping. Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Actively participate in "flex break" programs as required. Expand skill base through on the job training, cross training and classroom instruction.
What You'll Bring:
High School diploma or GED Minimum of 1+ year of light assembly experience or in a regulated industry

Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction. Ability to recognize defects in workmanship. Demonstrate competency in assembly processes. Ability to read blueprints a plus
