Summary:

The Lead Assembler will play a key role to within the production assembly team. This role will be assembling parts and sub-assemblies, and operating our production equipment, as well as assisting leadership to ensure production is running smoothly and efficiently. The lead assembler will be the point person to lead a shift in its duties and be responsible for the overall production and quality of the shift.

Principal Accountabilities:

This role will operate production equipment and monitor the quality of products produced. May lead and organize production daily work requirements. Assembling parts according to assembly procedures, process sheets, and/or other relevant documentation. Utilize hand tools including screwdrivers, torque drivers and assembly aids. May perform intermediate to complex level testing of sub-assemblies prior to final assembly. Serve as the go-to team member for shadowing, insights and problem solving. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relative experience. Team lead experience is highly preferred. Experience and aptitude with tools such as allen wrenches, ratchet wrenches, measuring tools, torque wrenches, scales, meters, and gauges. Notable experience working with technical drawings, blueprints and/or schematics. Technical aptitude for database navigation, information management and record keeping. Physical Demands:

Frequently required to access and manipulate various objects and tools. The employee may occasionally move heavy objects.
