Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM The Assembler is responsible for the assembly, fabrication, testing support, and inspection of aerospace components and thermal management systems used in commercial aerospace, military, and defense applications. The successful candidate will work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards that meet stringent aerospace requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble aerospace components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Perform mechanical assembly operations using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and precision measuring instruments. Prepare, clean, inspect, and fit parts prior to assembly. Follow established manufacturing processes and quality procedures. Verify dimensions, fit, and functionality using calibrated measurement equipment. Complete required production documentation and manufacturing records accurately. Participate in product testing, leak testing, pressure testing, and inspection activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Demonstrated ability to weld aluminum and stainless steel; Inconel experience strongly preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong commitment to quality and safety. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace, defense, medical device, or precision manufacturing experience. Experience with thermal management products, heat exchangers, welded assemblies, or fluid systems. Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality standards. Due to the nature of AMETEK Hughes-Treitler's programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the US and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
