Assemble mechanical systems and components from engineered drawings and job packages. Effectively use hand and small power tools for mechanical assemblies. Perform required testing following trained procedures. Provide the level of quality expected from our customers, both internal and external. Maintain punctual, regular, predictable attendance, work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Respectfully take direction from lead/manager; other duties as assigned. Adheres to and follows all safety protocols and processes.What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED What Sets You Apart:
Knowledge and experience with mechanical component construction and assembly. Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams. Experience with hand tools and small power tools. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate in an effective, respectful manner Good communication skillsAdditional Information:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and occasional outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to use small hand tools, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires occasional computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
