Contract Position Summary:
This position performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. The role involves wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. Make setups and adjustments while maintaining tolerances according to blueprint specifications. Read and work from blueprints, assembly specifications, and related documentation. Interact with peers and customers to exchange or present factual information. Use judgment to resolve moderately difficult issues and make recommendations when appropriate. Work toward assigned objectives and goals with limited day-to-day instruction. Follow general instructions when working on newly introduced assignments. Maintain quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
Required Skills & Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience . Substantial understanding of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly processes. Hands-on experience with wiring, hand soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing . Ability to read and work according to blueprints and specifications. Ability to complete a wide range of assembly tasks with good judgment and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with limited daily supervision.
