Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Pre-Fabrication Technician to our White Plains, NY team. This full-time role supports the Pre-Fabrication and Operations teams by preparing materials, configuring and testing devices, organizing inventory, and helping ensure field teams have the equipment needed to complete projects successfully. Success in this role requires reliability, organization, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the pre-fabrication of system components for security and low-voltage installations.

Prepare, stage, and organize materials for upcoming projects.

Support the pre-programming and configuration of devices, including IP cameras and related equipment.

Perform basic device setup and testing before field deployment.

Deliver and transport materials to job sites and between locations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.

Assist with inventory management, material counts, and tracking.

Support field and office teams with general operational needs.

Use tools and basic technical equipment safely and properly.

Perform a variety of additional tasks as needed to keep projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.

Ability to work with tools, materials, and basic technical equipment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn technical systems and software.

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Ability to safely lift, carry, and move project materials and equipment.

Dependability and a team-first mindset.

Willingness to learn pre-fabrication, programming, configuration, and testing processes.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Work primarily in a shop, warehouse, or operational support environment.

Stand and walk for extended periods while preparing and organizing materials.

Regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and carry project materials and equipment.

Safely lift and move materials as required to support project preparation and delivery.

Use hand tools, basic technical equipment, computers, and electronic devices.

Drive to job sites and other locations to transport materials as needed.

Occasionally work at active commercial, institutional, government, or construction sites.

Maintain a clean and safe work area while following applicable safety procedures. The wage for this role is $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
