Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, inspecting, and testing products while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented approach. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electronic components using hand and power tools, fixtures, and jigs. Perform bench and assembly-line operations to meet production schedules. Operate production equipment and perform basic troubleshooting. Inspect and test products to ensure quality and customer requirements are met. Record test results and complete production, quality, and safety documentation. Perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, fastening, sanding, cleaning, and part preparation. Perform assigned preventative maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, ISO requirements, and manufacturing standards. Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with training and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 6 months-2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read work instructions, safety procedures, and operating manuals. Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively on a team. ERP experience is a plus. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or climb. Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around moving equipment and moderate to high noise levels and wear required
