Job Description

Job Title:
Assembler, 1st Shift An Assembler focuses on assembling mechanical components for custom vehicles. You will use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to build and install mechanical parts while meeting quality standards and production deadlines. Responsibilities Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and pliers to fit, fasten, and adjust parts and assemblies. Operate basic power tools, including power drills, to drill, fasten, and secure components. Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure on a daily basis to ensure precise cuts, placements, and alignments. Follow work instructions, production plans, and, when applicable, blueprints or schematics to complete custom builds. Inspect work for accuracy, fit, and finish, and correct any issues to maintain high standards of workmanship. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading tape measure. Experience using hand and power tools. Experience working in a hands on position such as manufacturing, construction, or automotive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience reading blueprints or schematics. Experience performing electrical wiring. Automotive mechanic experience. Comfort working with both mechanical and basic electrical components. Mechanical assembly experience with attention to detail and quality. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment focused on custom vehicle production. The facility can be hot during warmer months and cooler in the winter. Work is performed on a production line with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other standard shop equipment. The team works to firm deadlines to ensure vehicles are completed and delivered on time, and the work is highly customized, requiring attention to detail and high standards of perfection. The culture is relaxed and collaborative, while still emphasizing quality, safety, and accountability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
