Job Description

About the Role As a Laser Fabrication Technician, you will play a vital role in our production cycle by utilizing advanced CNC laser systems to transform raw metal into high-precision components. You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece meets rigorous quality standards, directly impacting the efficiency and output of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Configure and manage fiber and CO₂ laser cutting systems, including Mitsubishi and Mitz platforms, to achieve optimal production results. Execute precise material handling and positioning to facilitate seamless production runs. Interpret complex blueprints and technical work orders to ensure exact fabrication specifications are met. Validate component dimensions using precision tools such as calipers and gauges to maintain high-quality output. Proactively calibrate and adjust machine settings to maximize operational efficiency and minimize material waste. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to support a productive team environment. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience operating industrial machinery within a manufacturing or production setting. Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret technical measurements and utilize measuring tools. Strong mechanical aptitude with a proactive approach to learning new technical equipment. High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. Preferred Skills Previous hands-on experience with CNC laser cutting technology. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
