Job Title:
Assembler Job Description This role focuses on high-level mechanical assembly within a collaborative team environment. You will use your mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and experience with hydraulic systems to assemble and troubleshoot complex components and equipment. The position is ideal for individuals with hands-on technical backgrounds, especially those familiar with automotive systems, hydraulics, and related mechanical technologies. Responsibilities Perform high-level mechanical assembly of components and systems according to detailed blueprints and work instructions. Work closely with the assembly team to complete projects accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Use hydraulic knowledge to assemble, connect, and verify the proper operation of hydraulic components and systems. Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure correct assembly and configuration. Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues during the assembly process and contribute to problem resolution. Inspect assembled parts and systems for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment safely and correctly during daily tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient assembly operations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to communicate progress, report issues, and suggest improvements to assembly processes. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with mechanical systems and components. Hands-on experience working with hydraulic systems in an assembly, maintenance, or related environment. Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams. Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical and hydraulic systems during the assembly process. Capability to work effectively as part of a small assembly team and follow directions accurately. Attention to detail to ensure assemblies meet quality and specification requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
