Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Assembly Solder Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing electronic components in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality products by following blueprints, sketches, drawings, samples and manuals. Responsibilities Perform soldering of surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools, soldering irons, and power tools. Utilize hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment to verify electrical connections and troubleshoot assembly issues. Assemble mechanical components and ensure proper fitment using machining tools when necessary. Follow blueprint specifications meticulously to ensure compliance with quality standards during all phases of assembly. Conduct inspections of assembled units for defects or inconsistencies in solder joints, wiring, or mechanical fitment; document findings accordingly. Maintain a clean and organized work area Meet daily production goals and deadlines Report defects or issues to supervisors Physical Requirements • Must be able to handle moving components weighing up to 20 lbs.
