Structural Welder/Fitter - Steel Fabrication Shop | Parma, OH $30-$34/hr Based on Experience & Weld Test We are actively seeking an experienced Structural Welder/Fitter to join a high-production steel fabrication shop in Parma, OH. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who can independently fit and weld structural components directly from blueprints while maintaining strict quality and productivity standards. Foreman or leadership experience is a plus! Key Responsibilities Fit and weld structural steel assemblies per shop drawings and print specifications Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication details accurately Perform layout, measuring, and fabrication with minimal supervision Weld and assemble HSS tubing, I-beams, and other structural members Inspect welds and completed assemblies for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Required Experience & Skills Proven background in structural steel welding and fitting Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Experience working with HSS tube, I-beams, and structural members Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety Ability to pass a weld test (compensation based on results) Compensation $30-$34 per hour based on experience and weld test performance This is a long-term, shop-based opportunity offering steady hours and competitive pay for experienced Structural Welder/Fitters seeking stability in a production-driven environment.
