Job Description

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc. is seeking a Tooling / Die Assembler to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assemble, fit, and adjust tooling and dies for production equipment, ensuring precision, reliability, and safety. You will interpret technical drawings, perform inspections, and troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime. Working in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment, you'll partner with engineering and production teams to optimize tool performance and support continuous improvement in quality and throughput across our manufacturing lines. Responsibilities Assemble, fit, and adjust tooling and dies for production equipment Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Inspect tooling and dies for accuracy, wear, and alignment Troubleshoot and correct tooling-related issues to reduce downtime Collaborate with engineering and production teams on tooling improvements Maintain accurate records of tooling configurations and maintenance Follow safety and quality standards in all assembly activities Support continuous improvement initiatives in tooling and production processes Required Skills Tool and die assembly Blueprint reading Precision measurement (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Machining and grinding operations Mechanical troubleshooting Quality inspection and tolerancing Use of hand and power tools Understanding of manufacturing safety standards Preventive maintenance of tooling Basic CNC or manual machine operation
