DISS Summary:
Are you a seasoned aircraft inspection professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry? Point Solutions Group (PSG), is aiding their government customer in search of experienced Aircraft Inspector IV As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will lead inspection teams and oversee complex inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. You will also develop inspection protocols and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
  • Develop and implement inspection protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
  • Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
  • Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
  • Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.
  • Complete on-aircraft inspections to include avionics and structures. Qualifications/Must Have(s):
  • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent (Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.)
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.
