In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and welding skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce metal components. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to ensure precise dimensions and quality control of fabricated parts. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal materials. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols, including proper handling of metal materials and welding gases. Collaborate with team members on fabrication shop tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding within a manufacturing or construction setting. Strong knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately. Familiarity with measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other shop math tools. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and metal materials in a production environment. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment. Understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and fabrication processes. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
