Job Description

Job Overview $18-$20/hr depending on experience. Monday-Friday NECIC Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Machine Assembly Technician to join a team in the Wooster, OH area. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing components on diesel engines, ensuring each part is correctly added and secured to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with hand tools, demonstrating precision and efficiency in a manufacturing environment. Assemble mechanical components onto diesel engines following detailed instructions and specifications Use hand tools to add, secure, and adjust parts during the assembly process Conduct quality checks to ensure proper fit and function of assembled parts Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors as needed Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment Experience Prior experience with mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles is preferred Mechanical knowledge, especially related to engine components or diesel engines, is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly tasks Ability to read technical drawings or assembly instructions is a plus Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity required Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills in engine assembly processes
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
