Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and quality standards are met in a safety sensitive work environment. Assemble axles and axle components based on customer specifications. Measure and verify axle/part specifications for accuracy. Follow established procedures and shop floor guidelines to produce high-quality products. Report any shortages or potential substitutions to the supervisor. Adhere to schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and correctly. Communicate any issues or quality concerns to the supervisor or group leader. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations. Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere among coworkers. Rework axles as required. Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Assemblers must be certified or in the process of completing certification according to training procedures. Attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. Strong work ethic and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
