Job Description

Kennel Technician Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
  • Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
  • Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
  • Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
  • Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, including lifting animals and supplies
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
  • Experience working with animals preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
