Packaging Line Worker Job Description This role supports a fast-paced production facility by performing packaging, labeling, loading, and basic quality checks on finished products. You will work as part of a production line team to ensure products are accurately packaged, safely handled, and prepared for shipment according to established standards. Responsibilities Operate and support the packaging line in a fast-paced production environment. Package finished products according to established procedures and specifications. Label products accurately to ensure correct identification and traceability. Load finished products onto pallets, carts, or other transport systems for shipment or storage. Assist with basic quality checks to verify that products meet company standards. Handle materials as needed, including moving, staging, and organizing items for production and packaging. Support general production and assembly tasks when required. Assist with warehouse-related activities, including loading and unloading, as needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Work assigned shifts reliably and flexibly, including additional hours when needed to meet production demands. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous production or assembly work experience beyond minimum requirements. Experience with material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Background in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading. Willingness to work additional hours when requested, depending on production needs. Work Environment This position is based in a semi climate-controlled production facility, providing a more comfortable environment than many traditional industrial settings. You will work on-site in a manufacturing area that supports continuous production operations. Shifts run Monday through Friday with three standard schedules: 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and 3rd shift from 11:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Additional work on Saturdays is typically voluntary and may be available based on production needs. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
