Pump Assembly Technician Job Description The Pump Assembly Technician will work on assembly lines, constructing hydraulic pumps for various equipment. The role involves using hand and power tools to assemble parts according to specifications and ensure product quality through testing. Responsibilities Assemble hydraulic pumps using hand and power tools on assembly lines. Follow detailed specifications to build pumps. Utilize presses to complete the pump assembly process. Assist with the assembly of various pump types as needed. Conduct testing to ensure pumps are leak-free. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude Experience with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints Previous industrial experience Reliable transportation Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience Ability to learn and cross-train across departments Knowledge of measuring tools and tape measures Self-motivation and a great attitude Attention to detail Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with flexible schedules: 1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, 2nd shift from 8 PM to 6 AM, or weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6 AM to 6 PM. Additional work may be required on Fridays and Saturdays until March, with the benefit of receiving pay for 40 hours while working 36. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
