Job Description

Job Title:
Operations Generalist Job Description As an Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including case masking for shot peen, painting preparation, plasma prep, and machining. You will follow detailed schematics to tape components, ranging from small parts to those housing 112" engine blades. Responsibilities Mask components according to detailed schematics using masking tape, varying by task, component size, and scope. Collect and deliver materials by picking up shipped parts, signing them out from the bonding room, and delivering them to the respective cell. Refill materials by ensuring toolboxes in each cell are fully stocked and assisting with FOD and locating missing or misplaced parts. Operate aqueous cleaning equipment and apply rust preventative solutions, including both programmed cleaning processes and hand washing when necessary. Maintain a clean work environment by performing daily clean-up tasks such as mopping, dusting, and wiping down fixtures, especially in the last 20-30 minutes of the shift. Track and transport parts within campus grounds, following directions for delivery timing and location. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED required. Must be a US Citizen. Ability to be on feet and moving around the majority of the day. Experience with hand tools is required. Exposure to working off work instructions or blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Steel-toed shoes are a must. Experience with hand and power tools is strongly preferred. Background in auto mechanics, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments. Experience as a laborer, machine operator, or material handler. Work Environment Current openings are on the 2nd shift M-F 3p-11:30p and weekend shift F, Sat, Sun 6a-6:30p, with a work-for-pay system where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40. The environment is climate-controlled across four operational buildings. Each cell follows a similar process flow, and you will interact with members from your cell and other groups, prioritizing quality and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
