Full Job Description Shifts Available M-F:
6am to 230pm
M-F:
230pm to 11pm Overtime Available Saturdays 6am-11am Job Summary The Production assembler is responsible for the daily production line assembly process via scheduled demand as well as custom orders required to ship same day. The production assembler is part of a team of assemblers on the production floor. The production assembler is part of a lean manufacturing line working along with other assemblers to manufacture multiple devices at a standard or better beat rate daily. _________________________________________________________ Deliverables Meets the daily production goals / metrics set for all finished goods shelf Kanban levels. Completes floor production requests (PR's) that include all start and stop times as well as quantity started and quantity complete. Provides a scarp report on the PR at the completion of each PR. Works from Kits with a PR for every product built. Maintains a 5-S work cell production floor and encourages fellow employees to provide the Responsible for financial assets tied to manufacturing, including: Maintains their own manufacturing tools and equipment in good/safe working conditions. Ensures that the assemblers own work cell has the tools, parts and supplies necessary to meet hourly standards/goals. Notifying the production lead of part shortages or discrepancies. Reports all production time effectively and accurately. Level 1 assembler
  • New and thru hole soldering only Level 2 assembler
  • Fully proficient in one assembly line all cells and SMT solder Level 3 assembler
  • Fully cross trained in all 4 production line cells.
Can assemble and test in any area of the factory. Academic and Trade Qualifications High school diploma Manufacturing experience
Work Experience/skills Experience:
1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment Electronics assembly experience. Proven and/or demonstrated solder experience Physical Demands Able to lift 10-15 Lbs. Sitting at assemble bench up to 8 hours per day Core Competencies Good organizational skills Excellent team member Self-starting Core Values
