Fabricator 2

Purpose:

Fabricates products such as hatches, frames, doors, and windows; uses steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Essential Functions:

Can include: bending, flattening, welding, cutting, shearing, straightening, grinding, sanding, routering, fitting, inspecting, and assembling. Ability to show up everyday and adhere to the attendance policy. Participate in team goals for revenue forecast. Complete work orders within the allotted time.

Experience & Qualifications:

Requires high school diploma or GED 1-2 years welding and/or fabrication experience, preferably MIG. Requires some higher education or vocational training specializing in welding and fabrication Can use/read a tape measure; use general construction tools, such as grinder, router, sander Intermediate knowledge of fabrication and able to work on own, under supervision Ability to read drawings and blueprints Good mechanical skills and math skills, including decimals and fractions Skills with lathe and end mill a plus 5A to 3:30P Mon to Thursday with OT available on Friday 40 hours week plus overtime
