Job Title:
Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled assembler to join our team. This role involves performing complex assembly tasks, conducting assembly testing, making necessary adjustments, and performing quality checks. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, and providing immediate feedback and training when issues arise. Responsibilities Perform complex assembly, testing, adjustments, and quality checks. Review production data to identify non-conformance and implement necessary modifications. Prepare status reports to track assembly progress. Collaborate with team members to develop modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, systems, and tooling. Ensure proper handling and loading of material on production lines. Provide direction and training on product/customer specifications and workmanship standards. Audit all stages of the build sequence for completeness, consistency, and workmanship. Provide immediate feedback and training when problems occur. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, including blueprint reading and using hand and power tools. Skilled in mechanical assembly and schematic reading. Ability to use a tape measure and follow work instructions. Visual acuity and manual dexterity. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MRP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Capability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a Class 100 Cleanroom, requiring a full bunny suit and safety toe shoes. The shift is Monday to Thursday, from 6am to 4:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
