Job Description This role focuses on assembling aluminum containers, steel products, and subassemblies using hand and power tools while working from blueprints in a clean, industrial manufacturing environment. You will operate machinery, perform inspections, and support production of specialized products for commercial and government applications. Multiple levels are available, offering a clear path for growth based on your experience and technical proficiency. Responsibilities Assemble aluminum and steel products using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and schematics to complete assemblies accurately. Operate production machinery and use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standards. Perform basic inspections and testing of finished assemblies. Assist with grinding, brazing, and other fabrication tasks as needed. Work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components during assembly processes. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while meeting production goals. Collaborate with team members and participate in cross-training opportunities. Essential Skills 1+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings. Experience using tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical assembly principles. Experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, or assembly environments. Familiarity with grinding, brazing, installation, and general assembly processes. Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic components. Inspection and quality control experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a clean, industrial manufacturing environment with standard hours of Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The site utilizes advanced technologies such as robotics welding, welding of all metals, CNC machining, and water jet cutting. Design engineers use the latest techniques and software, and production teams work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a vertically integrated setting. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and collaboration, offering a professional industrial setting for hands-on mechanical and manufacturing work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aston, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
