We are looking for hardworking Production Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will build wooden trusses using your hands and tools. You will read instructions and use a tape measure to make sure every piece is cut and put together correctly. You will also help move materials, pack up finished goods, and keep the workspace clean.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and proper assembly of materials. Support general labor duties such as moving materials, staging components, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly to maintain a safe work environment. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout sheets to assemble components accurately. Safely use hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, hammers, and heavy presses. Verify all angles, measurements, and connector plates meet exact engineering specifications and structural codes. Move, stack, and load lumber and finished trusses using forklifts or manual lifting.
Education:
High School High School Diploma or GED Experience:
Must possess the ability to quickly and accurately read a standard tape measure down to 1/16" increments.,Basic math proficiency, specifically adding and subtracting fractions.
