Assembler - Elevator Components in Hanover, PA 1st
Shift:
Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM-2:00PM Pay:
$18/hour 🔧 What You'll Do Assemble & pack mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated components Build elevator doors, walls, and subassemblies using production documentation Complete assembly, alignment, and packing tasks within set time & quality standards Work from SAP data , COE sheets, engineering drawings, and written/oral instructions Package, label, and identify finished assemblies for shipment Maintain accurate production records & documentation Use hand & power tools safely Read basic blueprints and tape measurements Perform picking, packing, and kitting to support the assembly line Lift/move materials (up to 50 lbs ) and stand for extended periods Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area 🛠️ Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical aptitude Safe use of hand & power tools Accurate tape‑measure reading Basic blueprint reading Picking, packing, and kitting experience Ability to follow manufacturing info & engineering drawings Electrical/mechanical assembly capability Fast, quality‑focused assembly line performance Lift up to 50 lbs; stand long periods Strong attention to detail & documentation accuracy ➕ Preferred Skills Electromechanical component experience Familiarity with SAP or similar systems Clean manufacturing environment experience Comfortable in moderate‑noise shop settings Reliable, eager to learn ⭐ Why You'll Love This Job Contract‑to‑hire pathway Up to three pay increases in your first year Clean, organized manufacturing environment On‑the‑job training Stable weekday schedule Clear growth opportunities 🏭 Work Environment Clean shop setting with moderate noise Mechanical & electrical component assembly Hand & power tool use Assembly line workflow PPE required: steel‑toed boots, long pants, safety glasses Standing for long periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
