Are you an experienced assembler with great hand tool skills? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
SUMMARY:
As an assembly technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of louvered and damper products using hand tools such as drills, pneumatic drivers, rivet guns, and more. 1st
Shift:
6:30am•3pm, Mon•Fri 2nd
Shift:
3pm•11:30pm, Mon•Fri 3rd
Shift:
10pm•6:30am or 11pm•7:30am (depending on department) Sun•
Thurs Note:
Must be flexible with shift rotation as we switch weekly between 1st and 2nd shifts due to training requirements. Mandatory overtime for some departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Assemble a wide range of damper products per work instructions and specifications. Operate hand tools like drills, rivet guns, pneumatic drivers, and wrenches to assemble parts and components. Perform manual and repetitive assembly functions including riveting, caulking, and bolting of parts. Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks during production.
Maintain equipment:
Regularly clean and perform basic maintenance on machinery. Rework defective assemblies identified during QA inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1-2 years of assembly experience preferred, or experience in similar manufacturing environments. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications. Strong communication skills to work well within a team. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
