Hours:
1st Shift 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday Job Description Perform a variety of manufacturing activities, including production, soldering, cable assembly, and inspection, to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Build products to standard production rates while maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency. Read and interpret job orders, drawings, and product specifications to determine materials, tools, and assembly steps required. Perform thru-hole soldering, to assemble components and cables. Carry out simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality point-to-point cables. Build simple point-to-point cables. Complete in-process inspections Demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools, including soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, rulers, and microscopes or magnifiers. Perform testing and troubleshooting of cables to confirm they function correctly and that frequency and performance meet required specifications. Use measurement tools such as rulers, tape measures, micrometers, and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Essential Skills 45+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience with thru-hole soldering and soldering assembly work. Ability to perform cable assembly and connector operations with consistent quality. Strong proficiency using hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, and rulers. Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Strong computer skills, including the ability to use software to find documents and complete data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working under microscopes or using magnifiers for detailed assembly and inspection. Experience in troubleshooting assembly and inspection issues to improve product quality. JSTD certification is desirable. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
